ArtULTRA x Culture Mile
City Vistas, London
Outdoor trail and exhibition for Culture Mile, in the City of London
ArtULTRA’s brief was to coordinate the cross-sector project group and develop a working concept for a trail and exhibition to be delivered in the City of London.
In their ‘Fuelling Creative Renewal’ report, the Corporation of London’s Culture & Commerce Taskforce highlighted the reduced footfall and empty commercial spaces resulting from the pandemic. At a time when London was already facing a crisis in the space available for creative activities, they highlighted the need for businesses to offer an office experience that attracted staff back from working at home and supported their wellbeing.
ArtULTRA was appointed from July to October 2021 as Project Manager to develop the City Vista concept for the City of London’s Culture and Commerce Taskforce. Against a tight timetable, and with multiple partners new to working together, ArtULTRA developed a full concept and budget, as well as a communication plan. City Vistas is now live in a pilot site and being rolled out in stages through Culture Mile.
